The COVID-19 Genomic Surveillance is part of the ongoing research in Genomics at the CSIR Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB)

As part of the programme, we are evaluating genomic approaches for high-throughput screening of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in high-risk groups. This programme also envisages the development and testing of digital tools for surveillance and testing

The research is approved by the Institutional Human Ethics Committee (Ref No: CSIR-IGIB/ IHEC/ 2020-21/01) as part of the research project entitled Combined Digital Surveillance and Effective COVID19 Testing Frameworks and Tools (CODEST).
